The new Nokia 5.4 and Nokia 3.4 are among the first set of HMD Global for India in 2021. Today we will take a look at Nokia 5.4, which has been the spiritual successor of Nokia 5.3 since last year. For the company’s new model, HMD is focusing on providing a solid video shooting experience for global content creators. The Nokia 5.4 smartphone looks great in this Polar Night colorway I have, and it’s also available in purple, called the evening. The whole body of this smartphone is made of polycarbonate, which looks tough. Laminated back mimics the look of glass but it is also a giant fingerprint magnet, and yet, it is proving to be very difficult to maintain a neat look. HMD Global also claims that the body is rigid enough to withstand the weight of a 10-year-old child, for its value. This smartphone is quite slim at 8.7mm and weighing 181g it doesn’t look too heavy. The Nokia 5.4 smartphone has a headphone jack at the top and a USB Type-C port at the bottom. The display of the Nokia 5.4 smartphone measures 6.39 inches diagonally, which is nice and big, but it only has an HD + resolution of 720×1560 pixels, which is a bit disappointing for this price segment. The Nokia 5.4 smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SOC and is available in two variants – one with 4GB + 64GB storage and the other with 6GB + 64GB storage. Its internal storage can be expanded using a dedicated microSD card slot. The camera has received a slight upgrade compared to last year’s model from the company. The Nokia 5.3 currently has a 48-megapixel primary camera, which is a 13-megapixel. It also has a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. At the front, you’ll find a 16-megapixel selfie camera in a hole-punch cutout.
